eBusiness Club
Home of the Operations and Business Analytics (OBA) department, the ebusinessness club is dedicated to providing our members with the technical skills required in today's business world. Our aim is to equip students with the decision-making, managerial, and technological skills necessary to succeed in a competitive business environment. We focus primarily on dynamic website/database design, project management, and ideas on how to incorporate technology into efficient business processes. Workshops and projects include Wordpress, SQL, Adobe Photoshop, Drupal, Python, and basic HTML/CSS.
Past Work:
-
Utilized a Raspberry Pi, which is a $35 computer capable of a wide variety of applications and uses. Projects included a bike security camera and also a high altitude balloon which can take pictures of the curve of the earth.
-
Successful kickstarter campaign which we designed and procured our own product. We used skills learned in operations management and logistics courses to design an ecommerce platform for distribution. See Project.
